If you’re office based you or a colleague has probably spent part of this week putting Christmas decorations back into battered cardboard boxes that spent most of the year on top of cabinets or tucked in corners. Take 20 minutes to look for similar cardboard boxes and into little-used filing cabinets and cupboards and see what they contain. The GDPR definition of personal data includes paper copies as well as digital media. So, If you have invoices, order forms, coupons, correspondence and print-outs sitting around you need to find them, log them and decide what you need to do with them.
